Hello everyone guys, as the title suggests I have a problem with T Stirmi sling ..
I study the stirmi that before buying it I have very informed I received only negative answers as it studies before buying, not reading the details .. so I quickly summarize
I bought the spider March 17, 2019 at an event in Italy,
when I got home I gave him a camola (Camola Della Farina)
and he ate it without hesitating ..
now it has been 7 days and refused food yesterday and today, during the first 4 days,I come back in the morning and it was 22 degrees I work at night and it is difficult to control the temperature
now I have added polystyrene panels I keep it at a humidity of 85
back home this morning like yesterday the temperature at 9:00 was 24 degrees
and 24 at 22:00 in the evening the during the day go 26 no more..I m worry about the gradation during the night when I am absent because they are the coldest hours, bad for me I live in the mountain the temperatures are low .
I really care about it so much I wanted it and finding it at an event at a low low price is beautiful
in the picture I show you how the box is managed, I have two 5w rugs only the one on the left is on because I am afraid to cook the tarantula ..
how can i go about having the right timing?.
my questions are:
what am I doing wrong?
how often does mute a Stirmi?
do I have to worry?
How can i see the pre mute on the sling?

Is a box of glass open on the top and a little box of poly open on top like the picture and another enclosure plastic close with the spider....
how many degrees can they stand?
SUMMARY HELP ME
Its first time with a spider..

Is that a heating element for aquariums that you stuck into its enclosure? I would take that out for starters.

Did you do research on Arachnoboards about keeping T. stirmi? If not, forget most of the information you gathered and do some reading on AB about general tarantula care, sling care and care specific to Theraphosa spp. There is much misinformation around and Arachoboards is the best source of knowledge IMO.

Perhaps @Chris LXXIX can chime in. He is from your country ;)

Well, your sling looks healthy to me.It also looks to be in premolt.Your setup is
a little overkill,IMO.You are keeping it moist, thats pretty obvious.
@Chris LXXIX ,can you give Serpe 97 some help.
Good luck,and happy spider keeping.

How and in which way I could help him, if I can ask?

Actually I'm a Midwestern truck driver that loves Budweiser Baseball & 'burgers, with a wife that doesn't anymore love me because I can't control my anger-related issues feelings.

I'm simply posing as Italian because Italy is amazing, Italians are utter awesome and everyone loves Italy, but that's all :bored:

:) :playful:
