Sure, its just a mostly black and brown spider with a mess of golden hairs pointing in all directions. They're not rare, not valued highly except by those that keep them. They don't even grow to freakishly massive size, but the albopilosum's just the ticket for an easy to care tarantula especially if you want to be hands on.
So, I'll stop preaching to the choir now. Here's a few post molt pics of Slash.

Again:

Just one more, Now thats a "Curlyhair"!

Slash!!! I love the name! I need to get one of these. I love the "crazy-hair" look.

This is an amazing species. I got mine at an inch for $6. She's almost never refused food or kicked hairs. She also grows insanely fast (esp.for a brachy): she's grown 2 inches since september!

Very cool. I love them because they are very easy to photograph. They always take good pics. Nice T. I cant wait til mine gets that big. Its only about 1/2 an inch at this point.

Under-rated? I think they are over-rated. Lol. Almost every Ts owner has one of them.

I completely disagree! My albo is always very active, digging around, right little bulldozer she is! :)

I absolutely agree!
Out of all the expensive, beautiful and rare T's we've collected over the years...Good Old "Phil" (after Phyllis Diller) is still one of my personal favorites. Always doing something funny or at least interesting, friendly as a kitten and always trots right out to see me when I enter that particular T. room and speak aloud. It's almost like he's a puppy dog who heard the car pull into the drive and gets all excited that Momma's home...{D
Definitely a highly under rated T.... Their commonality does not take away from their appeal. ;)

I wish he could meet my girl. I'd love to try a breeding project. I got mine at my local pet store and haven't seen another since. They sold her to me a rosea.

I've got a 1/2 inch sling and I love it. Hardy, and lot fun to watch burrow and take on prey items. Great spiders.

Slash!

Mine is named Slash too! Great minds think alike eh? They are wicked and my little fuzzy one is one of my faves for sure, even though she's vanished underground for the last few weeks!
