The Most Underrated Brachy

[SNAFU]

Sure, its just a mostly black and brown spider with a mess of golden hairs pointing in all directions. They're not rare, not valued highly except by those that keep them. They don't even grow to freakishly massive size, but the albopilosum's just the ticket for an easy to care tarantula especially if you want to be hands on.
So, I'll stop preaching to the choir now. Here's a few post molt pics of Slash.

This is an amazing species. I got mine at an inch for $6. She's almost never refused food or kicked hairs. She also grows insanely fast (esp.for a brachy): she's grown 2 inches since september!

Very cool. I love them because they are very easy to photograph. They always take good pics. Nice T. I cant wait til mine gets that big. Its only about 1/2 an inch at this point.

Out of all the expensive, beautiful and rare T's we've collected over the years...Good Old "Phil" (after Phyllis Diller) is still one of my personal favorites. Always doing something funny or at least interesting, friendly as a kitten and always trots right out to see me when I enter that particular T. room and speak aloud. It's almost like he's a puppy dog who heard the car pull into the drive and gets all excited that Momma's home...
Definitely a highly under rated T.... Their commonality does not take away from their appeal.

My male curly hooked out a couple of months ago, unfortunatly his days are numbered now. Poor guy .
