I want to know more about them. Beautiful T that I want to ad to my collection in the future.
Huh? They're in the Psalmopoeinae subfamily with all the other bridge genera (Psalmos/Tappies/Pseudos).They are in the Avicularia genus
They were moved with the Tapinauchenius revision last yearHave they been moved??? I havnt been in the hobby as much as i where 10 years ago! It is the last year or so i have been diving into the hobby again! Wasnt Ephebopus in Avicularinae subfamily before?
I keep all my Ephebopus on coco fiber and they do fine. Substrate needs to be kept moist especially for slings.Just throwing in some cocofibre doesnt work uf you ask me!
Psalmopeus, Ephebopus, Tapinauchenius and the newly described genus Pseudoclamoris are now in the (re-established) Psalmopoeinae subfamily https://zookeys.pensoft.net/article/26521/It is the last year or so i have been diving into the hobby again! Wasnt Ephebopus in Avicularinae subfamily before?
More than 10 yrs ago they were not in the Avic genus as you originally mentioned. They still had the same genus name.Have they been moved??? I havnt been in the hobby as much as i where 10 years ago! They are the most nervous NW species I’ve ever owned, and exceedingly fast. Rarely observed, prettiet pet hole you’ll rarely see.I want to know more about them. Beautiful T that I want to ad to my collection in the future.

They were. I’ve only bought them with their current genus. They were not in Avic genus. First bought one in 2005, and before that a few years, same genus. They where not??
They are in the Avicularia genus
That is not what you typed at all. I specifically typed genus in my responses, so you clearly weren't paying attention...or you don't know....Yes of course! But i meant that they where Ephebopus genus, but the genus Ephebopus was in the subfamily Aviculariinae
The urticating setae are on the pedipalps, Ephebopus are the only genus to have this. They also have urticating setae on their blue chelicerae. I believe the only species to be like this.
Crap, I always switch that one up, you know when I wrote that, I thought "that looks wrong", but I had to run and figured my goof would be caught...Much appreciated. They are the only genus on this that is more accurate. The urticating setae are on the pedipalps, Ephebopus are the only genus to have this.
