That was my thought but I really don't want to mess with him anymore. Is there anyway you can for sure tell they are dehydrated?
The exact symptoms you’re describing try dropping water in its mouth parts , if that doesn’t help its dying of old age . Not much you can really do tbh .

Did he respond to the drops on his mouthparts? Did u see the droplet get sucked up?
The drops did dissappear after a little bit and yes he moved his legs around a little bit. I was worried about drowning him. I used a tiny syringe and put like 15 little drops on his mouth. Is it possible to drown them? I really hope he gets through whatever this is.

good sign movement.
Booklungs being submerged when it’s unable to move is only way to drown a t . That’s part of why ICUs don’t work unless they’re substrate based .

Oh ok. Good to know. Should I give him more water maybe in the morning?

Here are some videos of what's going on and also. Am I seeing puss coming out of his side?

Yes, give him a few drops of water regularly -- I'm not sure how often is best, maybe twice a day...searching the forum (or better yet, use google to search just arachnoboards) for other posts about dehydrated T's might help.

A tarantula's "blood" isn't blood, it's haemolymph, and it's sort of whitish/clear like puss might look. If you see something like that leaking out, the T might have an injury. If you can take a photo and circle what has you concerned that will help folks zero in on exactly what you're looking at. If the T has an injury that is leaking haemolymph, that would explain the continuing dehydration and need to drink extra water. If that is the case, the very careful application of a little cornstarch directly to the injury can help it to clot -- just don't get cornstarch everywhere and don't get it on the booklungs.

Good luck. You're doing everything you can.

But he's been doing this weird behavior for 3 days now.
If it was in reasonably good health it could take a while to burn through its reserves and expire.

Another possibility is that it recently molted and it could have gone bad.

If it does pull through from hydration it still will be on borrowed time. Sadly they don't live very long post maturity.
