Well, I opened the first two sacs last night and they were both duds.
However, one sac had a single dead sling with one molt inside, so that tells me some fertilization had to of taken place. That means there must be an environmental factor involved?
I have these in my basement and it's been right around 76F, so that should be OK? When they didn't hatch or show development at a month, I put them in my incubator at about 85F. I'm wondering if they didn't get enough ventilation or if there was too much or not enough humidity? It stays right at 60% humidity, and I have to admit that the moms' enclosures and the brood chambers, aren't ventilated too well.
I have more sacs, probably more coming, and I was sent two more males for my other females, so I really need to figure this out! Any help is greatly appreciated...
