1. Is it a mature male
2. Where did you get it from
3. What are you feeding it, and is it gut loaded
4. What are you keeping it on as far as substrate
5. Does it have a water dish at all times

answers to snipes questions in order
mature female
got it online from a dealer with a reputable website
I'm feeding it gut loaded crix but it only ate once in three weeks
Moist paper towels now that it's in an icu
always has a water dish and moist shaved coconut husk (ecoearth) as a substrate when it was in it's ten gallon

at this point, I would attempt to touch it lightly perhaps with a soft paint brush. See if it responds at all. Then you can figure out what to do from there.

Best of luck

IME H. maculata is extremely sensitive to disturbance, and light. My first starved itself, and went bald, until I moved it into a closet.
Not to say that was your problem, but it's something to chew on.
Good luck,
Scott

Is it still in an icu or have you done something different with it? I personally wait until they start smelling. I have no idea what could have happened, i am sorry though. :(
