He matured July 29th, 2013 already. Just haven't had a chance to send him off before. Also, I did post up the vid of him loading up his palpsCongrats Jan! This is fantastic!!

Thank you, Michael. I reduced shutter time to 1/30 and occasionally 1/15 even and it seems the results are getting better some. "Azure" is very unpredictable - once in contact he's totally docile, but if you disturb him while in his home and the light hits him - he's going nuts and runs circles so I tend to avoid thatReally great set Jan!
I love Kyla, and that MM A. purpurea is unearthly!!
Thank you, Sir! And nope - she's not for saleSome beautiful avics Jan. I want that amazonica![]()
Thank you for the kind words, I'm trying to put the hints Michael, Chad and others give me to work. While I think my pictures did improves quite some, I'm far from their skills howeverI've been browsing this thread for a little while now and I couldn't resist the urge to tell you how awesome all of your shots are, especially those of your fimbriatus! They're gorgeous! I can't wait to see mine start to get adult coloration. Also want to say that it's a pleasure to come across one of your videos on YouTube (and on here). Your enthusiasm for and appreciation of your spiders is contagious haha. Keep up the awesome photos, I'll be following this thread more closely in the future for sure!
Oh, wow - slow down TigerBRILLIANT PICS STORM
I have a 3.5 inch P.Regalis but from what I see it appears male to me:cry:. How did you take your pics of your pokies earlier on this thread.I will post a pic soon if im allowed here to get it sexed by the best pic taker and most importantly my fellow hobbiests.
No problem manThank you for the kind words, I'm trying to put the hints Michael, Chad and others give me to work. While I think my pictures did improves quite some, I'm far from their skills however. The couple C. fimbriatus has both sealed themself in and deny food, so premolt. I'll update on them once they show up again. Again, thank you for the nice words, it's really appreciated.

Just make the thread instead of hijacking this member's picture thread to announce that. Maybe comment on some of his pics?I posted the images in my pic thread and would like you guys to check it out!
Yeah, Jan infected me with his love for this species..Just make the thread instead of hijacking this member's picture thread to announce that. Maybe comment on some of his pics?
Btw, nice P irminia![]()
Thanks, Pat. Congrats on the couple molts you had with your Ts. And yeah, mine are like that. Especially during night - I stopped feeding them during that time as they were starting to get prone to jet out and boy - they are lightning fast!No problem man. Funny, two of mine just molted also. It's amazing how fearless they are at a mere 3/4"+. They start to feel the enclosure moving or the top opening and they run out of their burrows rather than back inside haha. You'll have to post some pictures of yours freshly molted! Also, great pictures of the Homoeomma girl you have. That indigo/navy blue is stunning against that muted orange. Stunning species.
Pat

Gotta love P. irminia, simply one of my absolute favorite species. Never had any problems with mine either - as long as you respect them and learn to judge their behaviorYeah, Jan infected me with his love for this species..
...and now he's threatening me with falling in love with that H.sp.blue !!
Are you planning to breed yours? Would be interested in a few babies, then..It's not THAT far.Aww..you know you want one! Even before looking at my thread....Guess I'm starting to be "enabler" for some species now, hehe

Mine finally settled in her 'cave', on the ground which is sort of strange, but fascinating. And I'm going to need longer tongs.Gotta love P. irminia, simply one of my absolute favorite species. Thanks, Joyce! Glad you like the pics and I fully agree: She is indeed one of the Jewels of my collection. Now it would be nice if my E. pulcherrimaklaasi spiderlings would consider growing, haha. Still 0.5 - 1"Great pics of fantastic spiders, Jan! Jewel is, well, a jewel. LOL Now I'm anxious for my 'Spectre' to make her grand post-molt entrance. I've loved watching the color changes in this species as they mature. Never dull!
