mainly just plaing around. but also i had a 2X macro lens filter and it really narrows the focal poit so thats why the high apature, and its wasnt bright enough so i had to slow the shutter down, but im just playing around....any tips...?
ok...so i just made this "soft box" out of an old shop lite to help increase my lighting for better looking pics. tell me what you think. tomorrow im going to try and make a lightbox for product style pictures...again tell me what you think.
For a light box I use a white presentation board. I got mine from staples.
It folds out and stands on it's own. I really like the way my recent pictures have come out using it.
I also use a studio light with a natural daylight bulb in it.

well at walmart. they have the full spectrum compact flourecent bulbs thats equal to 150 watts their i belive 5700k and like 3200 lumens...i think. but i have to make due, i cant afford to spend much, im saving for an SB800 external flash.
well here are the three H. incei now moved to more appropraite tanks. the others seems to blah so i spruced these up for them. there a little bigger but i hink the moss is an added hiding places. enojoy.(ps. this light was just for picture purpose only)

ok well here is a picture of a male that biomarine sent me for free. we were both waiting on him to mature, and he did just 3 days ago, ive only had him for about a week now.
here is what i belive to be a male B. smithi. hopefully i can pair my female with him soon. he is in premolt now, and hopefully he grows ome of his leg back. this was a freebie from gh0001356(thanks man)
