ok well here is my newest addition. its a 3.5 inch p. ornata it was supposed to be female but its male.. anyway here are the pics.

ha, well just walked in a watched my C. huahini flip over! man she is goingto be bigger and meaner!

ok well she just finished molting about 20 minutes ago. i will post more pics tomorrow when she hardens up a little.

ok well this is a little past due, but here she is all hardend up. this is a very under rated tarantula. mean as all get out too. she is the only T i have that can literally make me get nervous. superfast! she was right at 5 inches..now she is probly close to 6 inches..

well here is my freshly molted B. albopilosum she is very pretty and now she is right at 3.5 inches. this brachypelma is acually growing pretty fast! also i got to confirm her sex too. i have a male as well but this is my female.

im just stoked i have a breeding pair of curly hairs now..im going to start slowing the male down now so maybe they can breed if not oh well ill try anyway. but it is growing pretty fast for a brachy...i got her when she was .5 inch from swifty(kelly) and now a year later she is right at 3 to 3.5 inches. and i hardly power feed.just grew alot in between molts.

I used to not think much of them, but since joining the boards I've really changed my mind. They're beautiful, though I don't own one.

Do you have any tips on breeding brachys? I know they're not the easiest to start with but I want to breed my B. smithi after her next molt.

no sorry, havent bred them yet. i have a B. smithi pair as well though still are both young.

well here is another shot of my female B. albopilosum she is now hardened up from her past molt a few days ago..and look at all those blonde hairs!
