Sling Enclosure

Hello all!
I just got my very first tarantula yesterday. It is a 2 cm (legspan) G. Pulchra. I have some questions about her enclosure and since I'm a newbie I was hoping some more experienced people could answer my questions.
So here goes: My first question is relative to the enclosure size (picture below). Is it too big? My T so far has only been under the cork bark (you can see her black booty on the other picture ;) ) and everytime I want to see if she is okay (I'm a very impatient person) I have to turn on a lantern and point at her. I'm afraid that, first, the food will be hard to find (I' haven´t fed her so I can't really tell you my experience with it), but more importantly, does she know she has water? I've placed a small water dish outside and wet the substrate near it but she didn't come out yet so I'm afraid she doesn't know she can drink from there. I have found another enclosure that is smaller and probably more appropriate to her size but I didn't really want to rehouse her again since she already made a burrow under the cork bark. Also, do you think that there is enough ventilation? I have only drilled the side and not the top.
So to sum up, do you think this is an adequate enclosure for a 2 cm sling?
Sorry if some of this questions are stupid but I really want to make sure everything is perfect for her.
Thank you very much for the attention!

It looks way to large, go for a 2-4 oz deli cup.

Definitely too large, I'd use a 4oz deli cup and the holes in that enclosure look huge compared to the sling, it will probably escape if you leave it in there. I have my smallest slings in small deli cups and use a push pin to make ventilation holes. I poke them through from the inside of the cup so there are no sharp edges inside.

Judging from the fact that the sling is so small I don't even see it I'm going to say it can probably escape through those huge vent holes. The size of the enclosure is okay or a smaller one as long as you put smaller vent holes.

The sling actually looks smaller in the previous picture than it is. Here is a picture of it while I was rehousing him.

I would still be concerned that it could squeeze through one of the holes. (If any hole is larger than the carapace, that is a possibility, even if the abdomen looks bigger.)

To make vent holes, I suggest using a pin, then go through the pin holes with a toothpick. I would never use an enclosure for a sling with vent holes like that.

Yeah I agree with you all regarding the vent size. I don't have any other enclosure for her since my other one is drilled the same way. But for now I have outed duck tape ( from the inside) and covers half of each hole. I guess it will do for now and when she gets bigger I will remove the tape. Lesson learned!
