Some old pictures of my old dog rosie a husky sadly I got no pictures of her mom on my phone just my laptop that died. She had mobility issues kept getting stuck in the snow and ice.🧊 She was about 15 years old lost to old age. IMG_6921.jpeg IMG_6920.jpeg IMG_6918.jpeg IMG_6917.jpeg IMG_6916.jpeg

Oh man what a beautiful dog. I Iove Siberian Huskies but I will never own them again. They are extremely intelligent and stubborn as a mule too.

I had two in the 80's both males, first one was AKC registered and I was going to use him for stud service I had the rights from the breeder.

However both were stolen from me and I never found them. Probably for the best as I was hot-headed in my young years and if I caught the culprits I wouldn't be here writing this now.

What a shame that happened to you. I hate thieves with them also. Although we have never had a dog stolen. Here’s some pics of our current dogs. They were going crazy because I was eating. The little dog walked across the stand to come to me. IMG_6833.jpeg IMG_6832.jpeg IMG_6821.jpeg IMG_6820.jpeg IMG_6818.jpeg IMG_6817.jpeg IMG_6816.jpeg IMG_6815.jpeg napping 😴.. IMG_6960.jpeg

The Bichon Frise, what a wonderful dog. Probably my number one choice for my next smaller dog. I like the Cavalier King Charles as well. My main dog is always going to be a Great Dane. I love them so much. I'm on my second, both named Gaylen, and the next one will have the same name too.

Anyway, I saw the dog pictures in the snow. Makes me think of my Gaylen when he was just a little one.

Here’s Angel, our family’s Pomeranian. Back when we got her, I wasn’t really on board with getting a small dog, but I soon fell head over heels for her!

That's always been a fear of mine....back in the late 80s, we had gotten a pure bred minature poodle (misty), planned to breed her....When she was about a year a half, someone snatched her out of the yard....they left the 3 legged dog...thank god, she was my best friend.

About 5 years later, while walking, I found misty in a yard in a part of the neighborhood we didn't frequent.....I was livid and wanted her back....my dad said it wouldn't be fair to the dog as she had been with them for so long. I didn't like that response too much....but now I get it...still....grrrrr

As an adult, I made it a point to never leave one of my dogs unattended....I've probably taken it too far as a result....now my dog goes EVERYWHERE I go.

It is sad when your dog is stolen. I really detest dog thieves. I balled my eyes out when my first husky was stolen. I had him for over a year and he was still a pup.

That is the best way never leaving your dog alone. There's been horror stories of what some of these dog thieves done in my area. In a well known town north of me thieves went right into a person's yard killed the golden retriever mother and stole all her pups, never been caught as far as I know.

I often had that thought a few years later. What if I encountered my dog at someone's home???? At 19 I fear the worse would of happened. When I got older I thought the same as you do.

It didn't help that some of the vets I contacted back then were telling me thieves were stealing dogs in the area and selling them to research labs.

I'm leaving my actions off of AB but one can picture what those thoughts swirling in a young person's mind can do.

CC9B4BB7-F86E-4D0B-9977-57A5568C3C17.jpeg this is Athena Grant Nash, our new husky puppy. She was abandoned and would’ve gone to the shelter, which quite frankly isn’t a good idea when those are overcrowded and she isn’t vaccinated yet so she’d be at risk for Parvo. So, we took her because absolutely not, and she is already very spoiled. She’s very protective, so looks like I have a guard dog now🤷‍♀️

This is Sypha, named after Sypha Belnades from Castlevania. And my cat Mia, named after Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction.

I adopted Sypha when she was 3 years old, so she’s around 9 now. Mia is around 16-17. They weren’t kidding when they said she was good with cats, these two are best friends. Every cat she meets ends up liking her, all she does is ignore them completely until they get curious enough to approach her 😂

I will strike down upon the' with great vengeance and furious anger. (I think that's the quote)?

I knew a long haired German Shepherd named Mia once. She was the largest GS, I ever seen.

This picture, this picture. They did this day in and day out. Hang out with the big dog.

Can't teach an old dog new tricks? One day almost 10yrs old in this photo, he accidentally rolled over on one of them, he felt so bad, for the rest of his life he always looked twice before moving or laying down.
