Hey all, alright here's the deal. I only use distilled water for anything that has to do with my T's; their drinking water, cleaning their enclosures, mixing it with coco coir, etc. Well I just made a new batch of coir the other day and I made it too wet so I just set it outside for awhile since its in the 90's where I live. Well I left it outside yesterday and of course it came a torrential downpour. So my question is will the coco coir be ok to use since it's soaked with rain water now? Only reason I ask is cause everyone knows that rain water isn't exactly the cleanest water to say the least and I don't want any chemicals or anything like that being in my substrate. Or what if I let it dry completely, would the chemicals still be in there? I figured they would but just thought I'd throw that out there. Any thoughts?
