Great predator

Great looking species, I would love to own one, but i handle all of mine and that predator is know for the aggresive behavior! Oh well to me, congrats to you and your beautiful species!

I tought p. rufilata has blue femurs on ventral... because my has
How big is it? and what sex? The adult female specimen I pictured will show the blue on the femur of leg I as well, if shot from the right angle. The blue tends to be on the "inside" of the femur on Leg I and doesn't show up well in the pics.

Here's a picture taken on the same day. (Not a good one, sorry)


Juveniles and sub-adults have much more blue as well... here are a couple pics of the same spider as pictured above while she was smaller.





Here is the female with male companion :)

Mine is only 3" lenght :eek: . Its female. I have male too but he is same color like female :eek:

Ah yes... it would be nice if all that blue stayed around in the adult.
