Hi all, my friend bought this tarantula as a spiderling and has yet to find out what it is. It is still quite young in the picture, perhaps someone can help me identify it. My guess is L.parahybana

thanks!

It's a bit hard to tell from the quality of the photo, but my guess would be A. seemani. My juvinal looks very similar in color and patern.

I second the vote of it being an L parahybana. Looks like mine did.

Here are some better pics of it...i think after seeing arachnojoost's parahybana i think it looks quite similar. I've got an a.seemani and i cant see much of a resemblance.

It is for sure not a blondi, i know the pics arn't the best but there is a pinkish color in there, a blondi is all brown basically. Im pretty sure it is a parahybana by the pics, but i'd like as many opinions as possible.

thanks!

Hi,
Someone scored!!! That isn't even a Lasiodora I'd say. I would guess it's a Pampho, lucky person! Maybe an ultramarinus.

Cheers,
Steve

The first photo for sure, then it mutated into blondi and Ernie's spider takes the cake, gotta be a Pampho.

Still L parahybana

the unique red hairs above the abdomen and the white bands at the end of femurs are unique in L parahybana which are absent on any pampho species
