I figured you'd like that one Chris. He's about 3-4 inches. I have one female that I think is big enough to at least try. I'll send him your way after, or if another one matures before that, its yours.

That would be great Tom.I'm guessing if that male is 3-4" mine is very likely pen-ultimate or close to it.So eithor way we will have to swap males.

Sorry for asking such a stupid question, but aren't Phlogius and Phlogiellus synonymous?

Beats me, in fact mine are still labeled Selenocosmia crassipes haha.

I guess my female is big enough Chris....

Im tempted to try smaller females now.

No. Currently Phlogius is synonymous with Selenocosmia, not Phlogiellus. Apparently this may not be the case in the future though.

I see, thanks. I was wondering because my Phlogiellus inermis looks pretty similar in many aspects to the spiders pictured in this thread.

Wow really nice pics Chris. Your female is prob double the size of mine. Does she burrow in that container or just lives on top between the dirt and lid?

Thanks guys!
She has a really nice burrow setup in there. The best thing to is that she hasn't webbed the sides up either so I can always see her.
