Do you know what I hate? I hate it when you someone comes to YOUR house, brings up a conversation about YOUR tarantula, and then says something like:

"Well, if that thing gets out of its cage, don't hold me responsible if I squash it!":evil:

It makes me reply:

"Well, if your going to squash my $50 spider, maybe I'll just run over your $5 cat!!!"

Yes, it was too funny to say only once.

My old boss said that when she was younger, her best friend's brother had a pet tarantula and she didn't go into their house for an entire two years until they got rid of it.

Some people are scared, some are fascinated, and some are just grossed out.

Another thing... You can find a cat or a dog just about anywhere for very little money if you know where to go... but Ts are always expensive to an extend, you can't pick one up for a five-dollar bill like you can other animals, yet it seems they get very little respect outside of the Invert-Lovers Community!!!
