...The last two years, Europeans exporters are shipping to the U.S. with the following name label "Pamphobeteus vespertinus (mascara)" confusing here in the U.S. the difference between the species. ...

Do these exporters really tell the people, that sp MASCARA should be the real vespertinus?
Wow!

The only pictures of real vespertinus i have are from the bulb of the type male. According to these pictures they differ from sp. MASCARA. For example the PS-keel is broader and more rounded than at the sp. MASCARA.

Yes, the Euro exporters are actually labeling the containers "Pamphobeteus vespertinus (mascara)". Respectfully, not everyone is a taxonomist especially on the hobby and commercial side of the fence, so what would be very helpful is if anybody has good pics to go with the taxonomy details of the real Pamphobeteus vespertinus because here in the U.S. importers and wholesalers are mixing up the species due to the labeling of the Euro exports. Thanks.

I just love how purple this boy is.

Pamphobeteus nigricolor (Ecuador) - molted about 2 weeks ago and he is looking sharp!

edit: not a stress curl. He just grabbed a cricket and I had to snap a pic quickly because he hides once he has a solid grip on his food. 😂
