Finally got a decent picture after I changed the hide. I am new to this species , firstly does he black abdomen signify how close he/she is to moult as they are currently not eating either. Secondly I am leaning towards female due to trh copper colour but I'm not sure if males display the same as sub adults. Any advice appreciated

yes, it does.
it doesn't give you an exact timeframe, but probably within a month, likely sooner rather than later.

make sure it has water to drink

no idea about the sex, dorsal sexing basically never works

just sex the exuvia once it molted, only way to be certain anyway

Oh ok cool ty, yeah dw has a decent bowl it's just removed in the pic

That's a very dark abdomen, moult is on it's way. Of course not eating is a sign of pre-moult too. Lovely T you have.

Thank you - to my surprise they are all ready on their back moulting! Hopefully be done in the morning!

Well that was quick.

get the molt as soon as you can so you can try sexing it.
