My 1.5" P. Regalis is fine and i think healthy...

the issue is not nematodes so don't go there.

behavior is normal, but there is a white material almost like a milk mustache that is dry and only on the the underside of the the T. it is not actually on the mouth parts just on the coxa of the palps and the tip of the sternum just around the mouth parts.

It looks like dried poop that the T was not able to clean up, but Why would the T have poop near its mouth.

I feed Dubia Roaches and I do not dust them nor have I ever witnessed any white residue coming from the feeders.

Any thoughts? Is it just poo. I would take a pic and have but it is too blurry for this scale of picture, no macro settings on my camera:(

If it was a brachy i would just grab it and wipe it off with a wet Qtip, but I am a little nervous about these T's.

I had a similiar substance on my Rio Grande Gold that I caught in San Antonio (Arachnocon Year One) but, once it took a drink of water it cleared up and I never saw it again.

I don't know what the substance was 100% but, it was obviously able to be washed off so I personally didn't worry anymore.

Mist the cage of the regalis and keep a water dish in the cage for it to drink from its just dehydrated

NO, i know that it is not dehydrated, I am thinking poo, but I dont know why it would havve poo around its mouth.

Oh and to the fungus theory, it really doesn't resemble any fugus I have seen before.

Your feeder roaches are probably just getting poo on them. That would be an easy way for the T to get poo around its mouth.

I agree on misting the cage. I'd also recommend elevating the waterdish (if you haven't done so already) so that it can access the water easier. Dehydration may not be the issue but, if the water is closer to it then it might help prevent the problem you are having.

It is a tiny little sling, I dont have a water dish, the humidity is between 80-100% and water drops often form on the side for her to drink.

Oh, I usually use shallow bottle caps at that size. Good luck on solving your problem.

I have seen the same thing before with a P. metallica and everything was fine. He went on to live to a ripe old age until he was invited for dinner by his mate. :)

white paste isnt nematodes, ive had 4 blondis have the same, possible from infected crickets, 2 s/lings died and 2 larger pulled through. do you notice a weird smell in the tank, a bit like ammonia? when mine had this paste (and were also ill, showing several symptoms) there was a distinct smell in the tank.

No, it doesn't smell bad. It actually smells like fresh rainforest. It is a really cool enclosure/habitat. I wish I had a good camera to take a pic with. It is like a miniture jungle. My T is acting fine and danddy. But I really hope it is not anthing like what you had.
