Well I woke up this morning and went to check on her to find her still stuck in the molt. I didn't have time to do anything so I went to work and hoped that she'd make it through till I got home. I got home and went to check on her and saw that she was pretty motionless at first, but I tilted the ICU and she started kicking like crazy.

I knew I had to do something, so I contacted a good friend of mine and he helped me through the steps on how to extract her from the molt. Needless to say 6 hours later, she is out of the molt and all though her legs are all sorts of bent she is still alive. I put her back into the ICU and put a VERY moist paper towel under her mouth. She is still very dehydrated, but you can still see her heart pounding away! Man she is such a fighter, I just hope she can make it through!

I want to thank everyone for your generosity towards the situation. She is my favorite tarantula by a longshot, and I really hope she makes it through. Couldn't have done it without you guys, really!!!

Wow; that is amazing she made it through a molt like that! I hope she'll continue on for you. It sounds like you're giving her the best chance you can.

Thank you! As I said, she is my favorite and I really don't want to lose her. I was thinking of squishing up some crickets and putting some of the juices in her mouth. How much would that help out exactly do you guys think? Has anyone ever done anything like that?

Talkenlate did that for a T with broken fangs, he seemed to have pretty good success with it. But whether or not thats necessary will depend on whats wrong with it, which you'll have to see it recover first. She won't be needing a meal for atleast a week or so. I'm really surprised to hear it made it.

I'm crossing my fingers, she better make it through after all you're doing for her! She sure does seem like a little fighter.

I don't know about food, but you could try to give her a few drops of water through a syringe. Would suck to be laying there dehydrated.

Just keeping you updated, she is still alive. I gave her some more drinking water. I think she may have moved herself a little bit towards the wet paper towel I placed in front of her mouth, as I don't remember her being on top of it. I'm hoping she makes it through the week and if so, I think she will definatly have a chance!

Well today was not a good day... I woke up and went to check on her and it seems she passed away last night.
