i have a quick question, is the A. seemmani a quick little bugger?, becuase the young man in my care is quick as a flash and had tried to escape twice in less than a week.
A.seemanni is infact a very skittish species, so for all fits.



As for the markings and color debate, this T has a high chance of being WC thus like most WC Ts the colors are faded and dull, a molt should clear it up though.

i think a male A.seemanni is much more of a tan color (like the one in the pic) than females, which is mostly blue/blackish...

I have to disagree with that, I'd males only look different after their ultimate molt.

a.seemani is pretty speedy for a terrestrial, and in my experience fairly defensive. they're often considered a good "first tarantula" but imo there are much better species to start with. i do like mine though, there has to be something to be said about any T that can stuff 10+ crickets in it's mouth at once.
