I picked up a new tarantula today...I thought I'd share some pics. She's a cobalt blue female, and she's about 4"....I haven't measured. I had quite a time putting her in her new house.
Ya just never know...I've had one since the 11th of this month, and she STILL doesn't touch her burrow (I pre-dug one for her to begin with, and she stayed in it off and on for the first week or so). She's always in plain view, which seems rather odd to me, but she seems happy...not overly defensive or anything (in fact, she's a bit TOO calm for a cobalt ). Err..getting off topic here...my point is, you never know...you may get ample opportunity to look at your new blue gal!Originally posted by pategirl

I know what you mean, dude. The only way I can see my cobalt is to put prey in front of the entrance but doesn't let it go anywhere. She always comes out eventually.Originally posted by Vys
