What you want to know is has any neurotoxin, from spray, feeder or transient exposure, been introduced to her.
I'm simplifying and working the odds of probability. DKS is a huge catch phrase but chances are a neurological disorder. Neurological disorders can develop in dozens of different ways but the most common is pesticides and neurotoxin pesticides are most commonly the fire and forget long lasting environmentally stable versions such as ant and roach baits and similar. Some can remain in the environment for months and with some of them just stepping on a poisoned ant trail then walking into the house can be enough of a dose to set off a neurological condition but not enough to outright kill.
