The male has no nest tho yet
I’m happy she made one!! Do u have a tiny fake flower u can hot glue up in top corner for the boy? That might help him, but he will make a tiny hammock once he relaxes a little more u are doing good and learning and fixing what u can!!

Little baby
Hey the tiny baby is a twin flagged jumper!!! That’s a perfect pic so I can see his markings!! So cute😍 u have lots of dpecies in your yard!

Twin flags are a smaller species too and males will get really cool white bands on their pedipalps as they mature

You can also jump on inaturalist.org and see pics of all species! But here’s one I screenshotted so u can see the white banding but do some research on them do u can keep them around for a longer time. FYI jumpers don’t like long line T’s do.

Nice! Yeah u can use that too! Make sure u let it air out a little too. Is their some ventilation on the enclousure I can’t remember if I saw any on the big one but I don’t think there was on the little one. When u put holes in super tiny or they will escape😂

Jumping spiders?

Or tarantulas

Well jumping spiders are smarter then tarantulas but I see your point they just recognize harmful from non harmful so they will recognize a person as non harmful and become less stressed and worried

@drurymercy heres the photos

But he’s where he was going that I didn’t want to collapse on him and he get stuck or crushed or bc of the hydrologic system they have if it gets punctured it’s very fatal

Speaking of finding spiders I found three jumpers in 5 min a tan and two banded

I have so many species in my yard

Also if you’d like I have a video of him eating and the female biting a fruit fly

I kept on here she is

She looks like a young female distinguished

Maybe

What kind of jumping spider do you have? Is it a Phiddipus audax, regius, etc?

This OP and all his posts are lowkey infuriating. Just commenting. This child is abusing arachnids and his parents allow him to.

He also ignored my question in the other thread, he didn't wanna post pics or say what species he had. Apparently zebra jumper but it's the 3rd one hes had escape now? Something is wrong here and this person should not be around animals.

Its beyond infuriating. What also upsets me is all the people kindly offering advice (nothing wrong w that) but also ignoring the glaring issues here. Some people just aren't old enough to own pets and yet almost no one else saw how young this person clearly is? Some times, things have to be called out.

No you are right at first I didn’t realize it was a kid then when I did I wanted to encourage love for spiders then I realized advice wasn’t really heard and proper care was being ignored. So I stopped responding. I feel bad I want everyone to love jumpers and T’s but not if you can’t do research and learn or not even have $ to take care. Hopefully they will learn and wait until they realize it’s also a responsibility and they depend on us to be safe and well. Sorry if I encouraged this at first

op needs proper gear and if he has no food source just catch a take pictures of them outside don’t bring them inside so centepedes can eat them or they die of starvation. Wish I would had a smart phone at that age. Didn’t even have one at all until 18.

You dont have to be sorry friend. You were just doing what you thought was right. We just have to be more careful in the future.
