Will you post pictures of her up close in her enclosure as well as the whole enclosure?

Also can you provide a quick outline of your husbandry, watering and important events like how long you've had her, how many times shes molted and when her last molt was?

Did she bury herself completely or is she sitting on top of the substrate?

Ok sure I don’t have a up close photo and every day I mist it with 1-2 spritz and it’s only her first week here and no molt yet but her size looks about 3-4 molts and she buried herself completely

Wait I do have some photos

Ok I’ll try to get a photo of her when she unburys herself

My jumping spider has been with me for about 4 days and she started to bury her left yesterday so do they burrow or is it something else that she’s doing

Hi Fang!! Ok ur zebra is too cute!!! I looked at the enclousure pic and that looks more like a tarantula setup, lol u would think they would be similar but your zebra is more arboreal but will also venture down to hunt!! They are so much fun to watch while finding their food! So u can buy or make a hide they like ALOT up at the top! Here’s some hides I bought and here’s my walnut I made (if you use a walnut use super glue instead of hot glue for done reason hot glue won’t hold onto walnuts they will fall off with ur spider inside) zebras are found much like bolds on fences sides of houses and on rocks and plants. So I’m wondering if he’s buried himself in the substrate with no hides and stuff on top. She should still make a tiny web hammock up top. If she’s WC if she doesn’t make a hammock or eat after a week she might not be adjusting well to captivity. But jumpers are funny they are very inquisitive to their surroundings and can even problem solve and have amazing eyesight! If u want done cool studies to read lmk!! But they can also be shy and reserved! I have 2 that will just sit in their hammock and watch me but won’t come out for me. Yes spritzing is good! Go off abdomen size for jumpers on feeding I will attach a pic for that they do get mist their moisture from eating. So I’m going to assume she’s trying to settle if she’s still new and do a more verticals enclousure! And get lots up higher so she can make a hammock up there. U are going to have as o much fun with her! And if you are on FB join onlyspoods u will learn so much just by reading posts daily! I can’t wait to see more pics of your little one!!! And multiple hides is ok and they might choose to build their hammock ontop of them lol and that’s ok too she will slowly learn how to use everything!!

If u can’t find any hides around pm me and I can send u some!

Hey thanks for the info but I think she actually escaped so I’m making a new enclosure for a new jumper thank you tho I will show you the new enclosure and spider soon

Ok I’ll look for some new hides tho

Should I use a new tank tho I have only two idk which one to use

I think the small one tho for a smaller jumper

Nvm the small on can’t fit anything in there so the big one is my only option

@drurymercy can you send me some hides tho

You can use the big one! Just super glue stuff up top for her to explore! Yes I will I’ll even send u this it’s brand new!! Just pm me your address!! Do u have any fake flowers and stuff? This house size will be ok until subadult. Too big and like T’s it’s harder to find food!

Ok perfect!! And u can even use like a measuring cup from liquid medicine stuff some moss in it and glue it in top corner. They like small tight fits!!

I didn’t mean to do that I meant to ask somthing is moss needed?
No not needed but if it helps that space feel tighter they will like that and they can web easy on it, but they can web onto anything so not needed. Just the hide looks big that’s why I would add a little something.

Ok I don’t have any moss so I might add another plant probably
Yes that will be good!! Before u know it h will be making so many enclosures for them!! I love how creative u can be since they don’t need substrate like T’s!! I’ll use reptile mat or fake grass and just glue it down!!
