Thanks guys!

Steve... He hit the plastic hard, and yeah.. I jumped LOL I've known this T since he was little.. I wouldn't want him loose on me!

Thank you for the tips! I rarely, rarely ever put my hair up... I'm weird like that lol.
But considering my next rehoming is going to be an H mac sling... I will definitely take your advice!
(and I am giggling about the image of you with a versi sling in your hair! Pics or it didn't... what? :p)

I did look for latex gloves first, and then dish washing gloves... and I couldn't find any.
So mittens were a last resort :p lol

Pics or it didn't, my butt!!!! Grabbing my camera was the LAST thing on my mind, LOL. No sooner than the mister went off, she jumped out of her container, and shot up my arm faster than I've ever seen her move before. What makes this so dumb is that I hardly ever wear my hair down, so I wasn't even thinking about it at the time.

You know, I don't blame you one bit for jumping.........Personally, I'd have done the same thing. But it's still no less amusing watching you jump, LOL.

I'll look forward to seeing the fight with your H. mac. :p

LOL uh huh, excuses excuses! Did you atleast have help gettin her out of your hair? lol

I was amused with myself for jumping lol

I am looking forward to rehousing a friggin .5" - .75" H. mac sling because it's probably going to kick my butt.. which will be funny, after an uneventful rehousing with this normally vile critter lol

No.....no help. Generally, I'm on my own with these guys. It's kind of comforting knowing that the responsibility of my beloved spideys is solely mine.

Your rehousing will be fine. Remember: Don't damn yourself before you even start!!!! :p

It's a Sony Handycam... This one here.

I won it at a company Christmas Party a couple of years ago. I tried to sell it, but nobody wanted it, so I just kept it.
Well I think that might be my next buy... I need a new camera..

Like others have said, I wouldn't call it boring. I found it educational. A lot of good ideas for when I have a T I don't want to just pick up and put into it's new cage. I don't have any T's like that now, but I know I will in the future.

Glad you liked it! :)

No rehousing due any time soon for her... so far, she hasn't eaten for me. She was in premolt when she got her, molted shortly after... and still refusing food! What did you feed her? Maybe I am trying to the wrong prey lol

Beautiful T Teal! Good job with the transfer too. I actually just finished rehousing my blondis myself the other day (took about a week) and saved one of my sketchy males for last. Well, he kicked up a serious amount of hair all over my hands and i've been itching like crazy all over my arms and neck. It comes and goes but drives me up a wall! As Fran stated, there really is not enough protection. Glad he was a good boy for you! :D There's always the next rehousing to look forward to. :p

Thank you! :) I think he's growing into a lovely boy.. but, of course, I am biased :p lol

Sorry to hear you got haired! I got a taste of it, when I removed this last guy's molt... I must have stirred up hairs from the molt mat because my neck drove me nuts for nearly two weeks afterwards! Not my hands or arms, which were bare.. just my neck! Grr lol

I can't wait to make more rehousing videos.. that was fun! lol

Nice vid teal, and great way of moving the T. :) I give you and the others who keep T. Blondi alot of credit because I would not want to deal with all the hair, hence why out of 23 tarantulas 7 are NW with only the C.Fasciatum kicking the hairs. XD

Thanks! I use a fish net for everything involving my Ts... it's invaluably useful!

I didn't realize what I was getting into when I bought this T (I bought him as a Theraphosa Sp. Burgundy back in February '09)... He was my 3rd or 4th T at that time... I knew nothing about U-hairs or anything... but now I do, and I would have gotten rid of him long ago if I wasn't so attached to the lil bugger haha

I started with a hair kicker G.Rosea, so I really didn't like NW T's a ton from the start, but like you, I liked the little bugger. But the rose hair I have now who lives in the split tank with my female H.Lividum has taken her view on life, live in the burrow and if disturbed, attack hard. XD
