I'm looking forward to when my rosea enters the red knee phase too. When does that happen exactly?

But the other side of the coin..............
What if this T was a really dangerous animal and the person
who bought it had no clue.........just think what could happen.

Are pet stores REALLY getting that bad?

Looks like I have to go and find myself a PETCO!

Beautiful Smithi just don't let my husband see it personally or you won't have it anymore cause he has always wanted a Smithi. He is getting one soon though.

You would think Petstores like Petco would double check to make sure thats what they are selling. LOL But Good Deal

BTW, this is exactly the reason I visit all my local petstores (almost)every weekend (and the rain has made it really easy). You just never know when you're gonna get that special color morph of a Chilean rose.

So far no luck for me though.

I am going to start visiting my local PETCO daily!! I usually avoid them like the plague... but darned those pet store owners and their misidentification. 2nd vote for beating RUGBEEEEEEEE DAVE on the great deals!!

Last time I bought a different color phase rosie, it turned out to be a simple p. scrofa... and a male at that!

About 2 years ago, I bought 3 curly hairs at petco that look exactly like your rose hair. I also picked up a pinktoe at Petland discounts that looks the same too.

Out of the 3 from petco, I still have the 2 that were female...

Ya know, you just hate to take advantage of people that don't know what the hell they have. But the way I figure it is, if they sell animals, they SHOULD know exactly what they have.

I have a friend that scored some great deals from pet shops that didn't know what they had, and he laughed the whole way home.
