Update: it’s on day three, there’s been no further signs of molting behavior aside from slowness. I have been checking once every 12 hours or so using a red light and haven’t seen any further signs. When should I assume she was just screwing with my head and how long should I put off trying to feed her again?

You could leave it prekilled in a week if nothing's happened.
There was a thread like this a while back. To my knowledge, his still hasn't molted. Try your best not to stress out about it.

Thank you! I've been doing my best not to hover too much! Thank you so much for the advice. I've been looking for other signs of premolt but it seems really hard to identify them in a sling of her size... I think her abdomen looks larger than normal, but I'm not sure and it doesn't look noticeably darker than normal. I also didn't see her fead when I last threw in a pre-killed mealworm (that was the day when I first realized she was on and off her back)

No point in even checking on it other than curiosity, not like you could really do anything/diagnose if something went wrong.

Let the spider chill and it will do it's thing when it's ready

What is it they say about curiosity and cats.... I'll leave her to her own devices
