Your doting and anxiety will actually kill it. If it senses a lot of movement and activity (lights, sounds) it will stop it's molt partway through possibly killing it.

Leave... It... Alone. Like out of the room alone. For hours.

Yahhhh I definety have a fair bit of anxiety. I'll leave her go for a while and see what happens!
It's understandable if this is your first.
I was the same with mine, and to be honest, still worry with new slings.
BUT.....
There is nothing you can do. Provided the sling is kept properly, fed well, and left alone, it will manage quite ok.
Don't forget, don't feed straight away, the fangs will need to harden first to avoid damage.

Still waiting for my curly hair to have its first molt in my care. Just remain calm :) Best of luck!

Exactly.
I love seeing my slings change from what looks like a spider you would find in the garden to a "proper" tarantula

I just checked in on her again. She's right side up and I see no sign of a molt... should I be concerned?

Ok, deap breaths, I've set up a little blind over the shelf where I have her. I'm leaving it be for the rest of the night

You can start to be concerned after you haven't seen it for 3 months " only start " other than that, tie your shoes, walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. All is well! Unless it's in a death curl your good. Let the T do what it does.

I never sleep when my T’s molt. I just stare at them for hours if it takes that long. I like to put my face right up to the glass and observe every detail until they molt.

It’s alright. Your tarantula is just getting amped for it’s molt.

Slings sometimes do this in the days before a molt. They're usually done by the next day. There isn't anything you can do so just relax and let it be.

Patience. One thing you’ll be accustomed to for the long haul. As your T grows these things can take longer. I have one I expected to molt weeks ago and still waiting. The name of the game is let them do their thing and enjoy the ride.

Checked this morning, there's no sign of molting! Looks like I'm in fo the long haul. Should I keep her in a dark room to ensure that the process is less stressfull?

Just forget about it. Treat as normal.
Don't feed or pick up the enclosure for a little while.
And... RELAX.

Here. Try this.

Hey! I'm already one step ahead there! I got my lofi up! Also I keep my slings in the bottom shelf of my desk, will the sounds of my working (IE typing) stress out my T?

The less vibration the better but unless you have a typewriter, it shouldn't matter.
