Other than "Diamonds are Forever", "Predator", "Stick", and "Murder by Death", who among you knows of any other movies that feature live scorpions?.

Well, there's "The Black Scorpion", a classic Ray Harryhausen (sp?) film about giant scorpions in Mexico. The giant ones are special effects (well done stop motion animation for the most part, combined with rather goofy close ups of the scorpion's faces), but early on there are real scorpions.

The science fiction film "The Arrival" featured emperor scorpions in one scene, which was funny because it was supposed to be South America.

One or more of those "Mummy" movies apparently also featured some misplaced emerprors, although they weren't quite as lost as the ones in "The Arrival". Didn't see that one, however.

Is it just emperors in these?, or are there other species?. These days it seems as though the the film-makers are unaware that scorpions other than emperors exist. The films I listed contain "other than emperor species".

The old classic war flick "Patton" had a bunch of yellow scorpions crawling over the dead bodies of soldiers in North Africa. Androctonus australis anyone?

Clash of the Titans had the giant black scorps.

Damnation Alley had mutant giant scorps.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids had a dumb scorp scene.

I would suspect that "The Gods Must be Crazy" would have some non-emperor scorp sequences.

Yeah, that guy is crazy, I saw one where he was flipping rocks and came across a Parabuthus liosoma and was holding the rock up and letting it scurry about the surface.
