I’ve been trying to make a list of all the Ts I’ve managed to find that has either a fair amount of color and or fairly bright colors. I was wondering if there was any more out there that I may have missed. My current list is:
Poecilotheria Ornata

Brachypelma Albiceps

Monocentropus Balfouri

Megaphobema Robustum

Aphonopelma Chalcodes

Aphonopelma Bicoloratum

Aphonopelma Moderatum

Ephebopus Cyanognathus

Typhochlaena Seladonia

Psalmopoeus Irminia

Haplopelma/Cyriopagopus Lividum

Brachypelma Klaasi

Grammostola Pulchra

Chilobrachys Fimbriatus

Pamphobeteus Platyomma (male)

Pamphobeteus Ultramarinus

Ybyrapora Diversipes

Ybyrapora Sooretama

Might notice in the list there’s a couple in the list that aren’t necessarily colorful. As long as they have a pleasantly bright-ish color, that works as well (such as A. Chalcodes). I didn’t add any other Poecilotherias as Ornata is probably going to be my next and only other Poecilotheria species I’d own. I’ve been trying to look for New Worlds preferably (even though Old worlds would work too) and something that doesn’t stay too small. I’d love to find something with as many colors and/or bright colors as possible or something that’s almost entirely green

I recently just started owning Ts so I’m trying to not rush in to getting lots of Ts (it’s a little hard I must admit :playful:), I currently only own a 4.5” GBB, 4.75” A. Geniculata, (rest are 0.25” - 2” slings) N. Chromatus, 2 Hapalopus Sp., B. Hamorii, and a GBB. I should be getting a C. Versicolor, P. Regalis, L. Parahybana, and an O. Philipinus very soon.

Almost forgot, I’d prefer also to not have too many Ts that look similar to each other (such as G. Pulchra with H. Minax or B. Vagans with G. Iheringi)

Dolichothele diamantinensis
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (you own one but still should be on a colorful list).
Anything in the Avicularia family. Beautiful T's.
Blue color of the Aphonopelma seemanni is also awesome.

(I will edit them in as I think of them)

Thrixopelma ockerti deserves to be on your list

It is pretty nice, it’s just that there’s 2 other species (B. Vagans and G. Igeringi) that have a very similar color scheme. I have to research which of the three gets bigger, faster to grow, more docile, and easier to care.

It's not obvious from that picture but T. ockerti has green carapace and legs, it looks nothing like the vagans or iheringi.

I have T. Blondi on my phone’s notes of Ts to get, I just didn’t post it here since it was mostly brown.

I only have H. sp. small for reference, but the Hapalopus sp. large might be worth considering

Species is lowercase

Not a single member of the Avic genus?????????????

BTW vagans and iheringi don't look anything a like, unless you are reducing Ts to simply their colors.

There are tons you are missing.

I lost points on a research paper due to capitalizing the species name for two species on a river species index and habitat review. Was so banging my head for a week, cost me an A-. Such a simple mistake cost me a letter grade.

I have 2 Hapalopus sp. larges. Is there any difference with the smalls besides size?

I used to have a A. (Not an avic anymore, I know) Versicolor on my list but I removed it because I had already ordered one that should be arriving any day now (along with a P. regalis). Didn’t really add any other Avic because the versicolor was the main one I wanted. Maybe down the line once I have much more space, A. Purpurea may be considered.

Yea, I know body wise they look quite different but I was just comparing them by color.

There are tons you are missing.
I bet, lol. That’s why I thought I should make a post and see what others are out there.

That’s because I already have 2, I didn’t add any Ts that had colors that I already had lol. But yea, they should be on the list. I’ll see if I can post some pictures of all the Ts I have.
