You mean slings?![]()
Hi people,
I'm just being curious..
what is the craziest amount of children you've heard a T can have??
Something like that.^^^
and then some.
didn't RobC have one that was like 2400+?
Roskiiiii!!!!![]()
I had over 2000 Lasiodora Parahybana last year, over 2000 by a lot, I stop counting at 2000 and sent hundreds
of freebies
Go ahead, count (1 of the 2 7" cups )![]()
Probably about 4.5in.Hm! True!
I believe so (Exo) What is she? Around 4.5-5 diagonal LS!?
But if you notice, T.blondi only lay around 150-200 eggs. It's as if LPs have smaller babies just so they can pack more eggs in a sac.Surprises me that they're that small when another "giant" species, T. blondi, has significantly larger slings... :?
Probably has something to do with the fact that T. blondis have significantly fewer slings in comparison to the LP. I'd hate to see how much a female LP would have to invest in her eggs to produce 2500 T. blondi sized slings. There's always a trade-off when it comes to survival strategies. I'm willing to bet LP slings have a far lower survival rate in the wild than in Fran's houseSurprises me that they're that small when another "giant" species, T. blondi, has significantly larger slings... :?
Or spell Lasiodora properly...Thay are a large great T once thay reach 1".But thay are so tiny that it
takes it takes 8 plus molts for them to reach 1".There are so many spiderlings
that nobody even seperates them to thay reach a manageable size.So that
means servival of the fittest and when theres about 300 left thats when
there seperated.Thats why a lot give dealer's away as freebies when you by
other T's.It's because thay just can't take care of so many slings properly.
