I was on the fence about it, and though it "could" go either way initially. But now it's pretty clearly a female.

hmmm...do you all see that!? on the last pic of the irminia if you look on either side of the ptch of hair it seems like two little circles...what the heck are those?! never seen that before:?

I was looking at those, too. Is this the sperm web glands (or whatever) for the special silk I've read about on TKG?

Thinking I'm getting the hang of this now but wouldn't be confident for anything other than "suspected" until I've had lots more tarantulas. Kind of fun.

ok so heres the update. i went into my spider room tonight to check my Ts(as always) and i noticed my P. irminia had pushed her molt out of her tube web. so i grabbed it up and man it was almost to perfect. the abdomen part had literally dried in the "open" position! and guess whay! its a GIRL!

just thought id let you all know who guessed at what it was and thanks!
