OBT ate her eggsac which is disappointing but there's always a next time. Also I'm pulling the other N. incei eggsac double clutch as well. Let's go.

I'm wrapping up the breeding season for the year, but I will for sure keep updates on something I'll be doing such as growing out somethings and more. Today, we're doing the basic maintenance for these incubators. Let's GO!!

A very simple start to the early half of the week. Post molt feeding and talking a bit about the feeders I use.

Today we're separating one of the last clutches of baby tarantula slings. These are the last of the N. incei slings and I don't plan on keeping any of these since I've already had my hold backs. So here we go.

Feeding some juvenile tarantulas today and some others as well. Let's see who's hungry today and just chill.

The final count of the OBT's that survived were seven. I don't have plans to keep any of them for now and I also want to update on some molts as well. So here we go.

I lost some of the records for some of my tarantulas, so that's a video topic today and we're discussing about myself as well. The expectations some people have are just quite a bit much, so I want to talk about that as well.

I don’t normally watch a lot of breeding videos but I did watch this one, which seems more of a reflection and introspection of where you have been and where you are going. I think you answered your own questions and concerns about the future when you were talking about enjoying the journey.

It is natural to question ourselves and our place but don’t let that control you or restrict how far you go. You seem to know your abilities and seem level headed and that is a good thing.

When people say that they think you can do greater things in the field, as you mentioned, take it simply as a compliment and not as pressure. I think we all do that, I know I have. Sometimes the greatest criticisms and pressures we feel come not from others but from ourselves.

Not everyone gets the recognition that they deserve.

Tom Moran is a great promoter of good tarantula keeping and yet he does not nearly have the subscriber base that lesser keepers who are constantly hawking “merch” have. And How the Hell do the Kardashians have anywhere near the following that they do.

Enjoy the journey wherever it takes you.

Tarantula growth is the focus for now. And also some pedes as well. My back is pain, but enjoy.

In some reflection to your previous video.
I don't think anyone is questioning your ability .
You are certainly open about your breeding projects and I know very very little about you in the regard, but I think you are making a more positive impact than you realize for the hobby as a whole.

Congrats and good luck!

I am not a breeder but was curious about some things.

Do mature males lose virility so to speak over time? I realize that they are on borrowed time and the earlier you start means potentially more mating attempts. But does the strength of what they provide diminish over time?

Yes, with time they get weaker. So it's best to utilize them while they're not too far into being a mature male.

It's time to start rehousing. A lot more to come in the future. Let's start small for now with these little ones.

Tarantula mom and her babies. What more can be said? I am a bit under on how I'm feeling, so I'm not feeling too good. But let's enjoy this one together shall we?
