They aren't guesses, it's just that easy with those species. lol There are other threads with pictures describing sexual dimorphism with those two species. The color tells all!

My Juvenile Lampropelma violaceopes, unsexed, i heard orange hairs means male but i am hoping obviously its a female.

so far all ive seen is a LOT of slapping. Very interesting to watch!



shortly after the 2nd pic he started to crawl under her in the moss. A lot of movement, but who knows.
Suprisingly enough she hasnt shown any aggression other than the slapping (which HE does way more of!)
