They aren't guesses, it's just that easy with those species. lol There are other threads with pictures describing sexual dimorphism with those two species. The color tells all! :)

The ones i marked as male and female turned out to be male and female....:geek:
thanks to both of you for clarifying that, and pointing me in the right direction :)

Cute nigerrimum! My first T was an L. violaceopes. I just love her, even if she is always hiding behind her dirt curtain. Welcome to the hobby!

Fingers Crossed Guys!

so far all ive seen is a LOT of slapping. Very interesting to watch!

shortly after the 2nd pic he started to crawl under her in the moss. A lot of movement, but who knows.
Suprisingly enough she hasnt shown any aggression other than the slapping (which HE does way more of!)
