Sorry to hear about your loss Adrian. I recently had a similar experience with an adult female A. seemanni. I kept her at work, and she started to molt on a Friday. She seemed to have some problems and I tried to help where I could, but when I came back in on Monday, she was gone.

Its pretty bad to lose a tarantula to a molt. The first one I lost was during one.

That sucks!
I lost two A avics to bad molts, one of them being one that I had to help out of her old skin. She looked like she was gonna be ok but deformed, and after about a day she died. So I know how you feel. At least you tried, and that's all you could do.
