Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and still fairly new to keeping tarantulas, was hoping to please get some help/input on this and see if there's anything I can/should do or if I should even be worried.

I've had this Idiothele Mira for just over 3 years now, it was one of the first tarantulas I got.
It's currently about 2 inches DLS (I'm guessing)

Today I noticed it was on the side of the glass and the tips of its pedipalps look reddish?
I'm guessing it recently molted, based off the reddish fangs. It's not leaking fluid but I haven't seen that before. I'm suspecting it injured itself.

It last ate 2 weeks ago on 5/10. I tried to feed on Sunday 5/18, but it didn't eat. I think that's when it molted. took out the dubia the next day.
(I had pre killed and it hadn't moved from where I placed it so I don't suspect the roach injured it)

After I took these pictures it went back into its burrow, but it paused in front of its trap door.
Almost like it had trouble lifting door to go in. It eventually used its other legs and got itself in after a few seconds.

It's a hot day out so it came back out and is back on the side of the glass again.
It just seemed weird to me and I have no idea if I should be concerned.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Glad you posted this😂 Now I know what a mature male looks like
I had just posted a picture of a ventral asking for confirmation, because I was banking on it being male but mine looks female to the naked eye. 😂 They are so tiny that every time he’s out I check again to make sure I didn’t miss the modified pedipalps. There is one old post from years ago where the owner missed seeing them…I’m really paranoid about it 😂😂😂

I’ve owned this species- it’s a MM. Those are common anatomical looks for MM across tarantulas

If this is your first MM, and it seems that way- read up on MM behavior here on AB.

Every question on MMs has been answered here many times over for over 20 yrs. Nothing has changed.

I really hope that doesn’t happen to me 😂 I’m already been tricked once I don’t need to be tricked again
