Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and still fairly new to keeping tarantulas, was hoping to please get some help/input on this and see if there's anything I can/should do or if I should even be worried.
I've had this Idiothele Mira for just over 3 years now, it was one of the first tarantulas I got.
It's currently about 2 inches DLS (I'm guessing)
Today I noticed it was on the side of the glass and the tips of its pedipalps look reddish?
I'm guessing it recently molted, based off the reddish fangs. It's not leaking fluid but I haven't seen that before. I'm suspecting it injured itself.
It last ate 2 weeks ago on 5/10. I tried to feed on Sunday 5/18, but it didn't eat. I think that's when it molted. took out the dubia the next day.
(I had pre killed and it hadn't moved from where I placed it so I don't suspect the roach injured it)
After I took these pictures it went back into its burrow, but it paused in front of its trap door.
Almost like it had trouble lifting door to go in. It eventually used its other legs and got itself in after a few seconds.
It's a hot day out so it came back out and is back on the side of the glass again.
It just seemed weird to me and I have no idea if I should be concerned.
Any input is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
