just curiously digging up some old but still relevant threads -
kind of an old list, just even 6 months later as the naming and reclassification of many lineages makes a list like this obsolete. I don't think the op realized what a massive undertaking it is to compile a complete list of sp. even somewhat "available" in the U.S.
I glanced at it, noticed P. parvula isn't there but a pair recently were sold by FNT and there used to be some you could grab up a few years ago.
I'm guessing the majority of uncommon T's go to non-breeders for their entire lifespan, so in 10 or 15 years, an entire sp. could be non-existant here. Phrixotrichus scrofa (ex. Paraphysa scrofa), and the P. scrofa sp. "North Bronze" I had imported from Todd Gearhart and later bred, are now quite a rarity, and I'd say not available. maybe in a few years...

what exactly does available mean? Isn't it more to the point saying some # of animals known to exist in private collections?

edit: Euathlus parvulus (ex. P. parvula) see, even a day or hours to the person editing, compiling or researching can cause confusion. see how messed up tarantula taxonomy is? haha
