Makes sense. No worries at all on mine. That enclosure ended up with another T. As I needed it much sooner than I’d previously asked for, I just made one myself out of 1/4” acrylic. Not as nice as yours, but works well. As Zilla doesn’t have a top locking system, I just put lid clips on it. I’ll just go with Exos from now on. Simpler. :)
Sorry, I have failed you. I still will make you one FOC

Try covering most part of it, just to decrease the air currents.

Once it settles down again remove it gradually. It worked for me in my exo terra and to the ones I suggested it.

You won't loose anything trying it 😎👌🏼
covering it up with what ? 🤔

It used to be covered by saran wrap, partially on the lid but I removed it.
I simply used some straight paper cuts placed on the corners, leaving the center open to allow some ventilation

What do you mean any pictures?
these are Lids I have in garage , and the cracked cage I haven’t fixed not sure 🤔 what type of glue to fix it with. Is there any type of coating or spray that can make it so they don’t stick? IMG_1335.jpeg IMG_1334.jpeg IMG_1333.jpeg IMG_1332.jpeg IMG_1330.jpeg IMG_1331.jpeg

No pics. But somethin like this

I placed some rectangular paper sheets around the corners, so the air entered more toward the center, reducing the air currents around the glass, decreasing the calling effect for the T to find any scaping points.

Both are woven mesh, as each wire is woven to create the mesh, like cloth but using metal wires.

Other alternatives are perforated or stamped metal sheets.

I see acrylic is just so expensive. I don’t even remember how to build a lid. I need to cut it in 3 parts . What a pain ..
Does anyone make fitting acrylic tops? for 10 gallons? Under $50 each.
I don’t understand why the pet shop doesn’t offer them..

Ran out of money to fix the lids, too hard to measure and go buy acrylic. Zilla are a different size then previous ones I built. I’ve never seen one get stuck in them. If there was some sort of cheaper then acrylic solution I’d definitely try it. Or I gotta save up.

I am going to be making some as soon as I get some time. I have to get some of the units so I can take Dims for cutting. So more news in maybe about 2 weeks. I will be starting with the smallest Zilla and working up
