Hi guys!

I start with one scorpion and I have now 11. And I hope I can get more and more...

But theres some problems...

Coming the winter, I need to heat the terrariums and Its great if I could heat them all without using particular heatment for each one.

At the moment that is my setup:
on the bottom is the enclosure of the Corn Snake:

That is the 3 B. Ibericus 2nd instar:

3 centruroides margaritatus 2nd instar:

Babycurus Jacksoni 2nd instar:

2 Mesobuthus (2.0):

2 Buthus Ibericus (2.0)

No one is heated yet cause the temps are hight at this time but the winter is coming and I need to prepare all.
I'm thinking on a cupboard heated...

I ask your all to help me with and put some pics of your setup and tell me how do you make the heatment!

Thanks in advance!

Cheers!;)

nice to see your collection growing !

I would either use like 2, 75-100 watt infrared heat bulbs or just a space heater that is oil based I heard is really good...or even an electric one !

Thanks we are swamped right now with college classes and such , but we will start weekly/daily updates here in a week or two once we get to our new places, unfortunately me and my brother had to half our collection, he took tropical and bark species, I have the desert and temperate species, I can show you my breeding box of orthochirus species that carries over 100 specimen maintained at temperature of 33-35C (91-94F).

Thanks for the compliments on the site buddy !

Taking pictures now will update in 10-15 minutes :)

Edit: Also me and my brother are big on cost effective ways on how to better your setup, for example I heat those 100+ specimen with only 2 heat lamps and sometimes an electric fan..all of which came to a total of 50USD, which I think is dang good, and the electric fan is what cost over half of that..but I was just testing out some new procedures for ventilation.

that would be great if you show me some pics!

Its boring that you have to half your colection, but its for a good reason!

Good luck with the college! thats the most important! ;)

Cheers!

OK here is where I keep most my desert species, maintained by two of the heat lamps pictured.

The ambient temp is 88F during the day, 75F at night.

Also alot of people have been asking me for size referance on instar 2- 3 orthochirus sp. pakistan..well there it is !
