Does anyone know how often to feed a pet spider?

Well specifically which kind of spider some eat more then others, also there's a lot of variations that are involved with the feeding process. L. Hesperus (Black widows) who eat different then my Costa Rican striped knee tarantula. Also size and age play a role as well so a little bit more information..
