Awesome fimbriatus, Hobo!
Thanks. She's doing rather well, I guess. Might be time for a rehouse/tank cleaning; she's chewed a lot of the background off.Nice antinous! Very black. How is she/he?
Thanks. Really glad I happened to get her.Awesome fimbriatus, Hobo!
Well she's eating still, and this coming november will be three years since her last molt. She's looking a bit lighter, but nowhere near as tan as she was when I first got her.Great stuff! All 34 pages that I just read!
Wouldn't mind seeing more of the rosy and how it's colors have progressed from the Rose to the bright red to the lighter colors...
Thanks! I will go ahead and agree with you.The robustum is so cute haha. Nice P. antinous!
Well, her last molt was about 8" across, so Probably 8". She didn't look like she'd grown at all.LOL not how is she/he ... It should say how BIG is she/he My bad hehe
She is 5" right now. I'm guessing she is really oldThat's very nice....definitely retained the darker/vibrance of the last most compared to the tan/rosy colors she had. 3 full years soon huh? That's quite the while...What size would you say she is now? Mine is just about 4.75"~ish at the moment. She was wild caught so I have no idea is she has anything left in her...but I can hope right? lol
Thanks for the pics man...they are beautiful and your collection makes me jealous. ^_^
Thanks for the sub. It looks like she did, but she didn't, or at least didn't do any damage.Nice vids, looks like she got him once in one of them? Glad he survived her temper Subbed you btw.
Thanks!Beautiful smithi and lugardi! Great collection!
Yup she's a looker. I think the color difference is just because of my gratuitous use of the flash to hide my camera skills! Oh wait, that does the opposite, doesn't it...Beautiful smithi! That P. ultramarisu goes to show that their coloration differs quite some from specimen to specimen...
Thanks man!Good luck with these Hobo!
I've no idea about the US, but they don't seem to be that common here in Canada from what I've seen. Either that or they're unpopular, but that's just crazy. As already said on YT, best of luck on getting a viable sac from her! From what I understand, those are not that common in the US, right?
And you obviously do a great job on helping your T's molt, first the GBB, not the LD...awesome work!
Thanks! Don't spoil the end, I'm not all the way through yet!Well. I just spent the last two days going through this thread from start to finish. I think its my favorite. Because not only are the pictures really nice, but it chronicled the lives of all your spiders since like 2010, and I now feel like I know them personally! Its very well done. I feel like I just read a good book.
Don't get me wrong, I'm disappointed, but I'm still smiling. I just need to track down another male.oh dear! That's no good for breeding, (maybe they'll be lesbians and adopt foreign slings together though) but at least you have two beautiful pets that will be living a much longer time than anticipated....silver lining?
Well, two, to be fair. You sure have some Ts that have problems molting without problems, Hobo...weird. Here's hoping that metallica -will- hook out (although after seeing that skin...I'd doubt it highly)
