such gorgeous Tarantulas!! Its such a shame that you dont see them for sale too often (in the states anyway)

awesome man.im waiting for mine to get more size.hes molted bout twice in my care.sux i lost the other two i had :[one got shipped missing legs and died a day after and the other died molting the same week.

Hi,

If you need one check more, its 100% mature male.
(You can see the brush of hairs on the Metatarsus - this feature is only visible in mature males. ;) )

Well, we had forgotten and eggsac with a female and today found some 2nd instars running around with the female.

Here are a few pictures of communal feeding with mommy and siblings.

Two of mine have just moulted out into males by the looks of it (at last!) and I have two freshly moulted females :)

Martin, that is an awesome picture, I like how the baby is feeding off the mothers cage; so motherly lol. What species is that?

its Heterothele villosella.

Just for info, in the next BTS Issue will be a large article about this species! ;)
