WaitShe’s not moving and has white spots on her underside. Baby versicolor pink toe. I fed her mealworm because I got stuck out of town and she’s not moving, barely. Hanging on with 2 View attachment 491948 feet still
It could be getting ready to molt. When a tarantula molts it flips over and its a waiting game for it to molt and grow bigger.Wait for what

I don’t know about your T and your situation but it could be a reason why it got upside down and got still. And yes that would be normal for all Ts.
Otherwise it could have died, but it’s too early to say that at the moment. Pics of your setup would help, but the biggest recommendation I would give right now is wait because it could be getting ready to start molting.
I just put her in a bigger container. I got her for Christmas. She had already built a huge web that surrounded her. She came out to eat. She hat three crickets the last time. Small ones. I had to give her a red meal worm. I put her into a bigger jar while I can try and get the proper things.Just leave it in its enclosure. There’s not much you can do so it’s best to let the spider be.The white spots are it’s lungs.
She was hanging on to the leaf by one leg. I flipped her over to look then put her in a curled up rose petal to maybe feel like a web while I have her in her lid.Did you move it after it was flipped over?
they are on their backs for two reasons: molt, or fall…
so, if you moved it when it was on its back without giving it a moment, it might have interrupated molt.
i am trying to understand the succession of events. She was hanging on to the leaf by one leg. I flipped her over to look then put her in a curled up rose petal to maybe feel like a web while I have her in her lid.
I just watered it. But she’s next to a heat vent here so it dries out quicklyi am trying to understand the succession of events.
i need your help.
you said you needed help because tarantula was on its back.
when was it on its back, and what did you do next?
i dont know if its my phone, but your enclosure looks too wet for the ventilation you have.
That is after we had made the new one and then put water in the frozen dirt. It got left outsideI just watered it. But she’s next to a heat vent here so it dries out quickly
You water plants, not tarantulasI just watered it. But she’s next to a heat vent here so it dries out quickly

One thing at a time. You can manage the tarantula. You just need to add dry sub.How do I make it better being a single mom with a 1000 a month income in Michigan?
