Have you been bit??

In light of the current convo about underage/unprepared people owning OW Ts, I'm wondering, just how common it is to be bitten. I personally have not been bitten, since I just started out, but fully expect that it could happen in the future.

If you've been bit, who bit you, and what happened?

I have yet to be bitten. I only have 34 T's and got into the hobby in October of 2008.

Roughly been keeping ts about 3 yrs (give or take)... and no bites... yet. Hopefully it'll stay that way for quite a while yet.

Well.. I wish I can say no to this... But... I cant... Yes I been tagged.. I got, got by my female Brachypelma albopilosum.. Being stupid at feeding time.. I tried stirin up some run away prey... !ell she thought I was the prey and got my finger tip...

Oh don't I know it. But not handling just helps to reduce the risk.

Actually I need to rehouse my B. smithi... but I should be able to do it in such a way that I don't need to touch her. The whole old enclosure in the new enclosure deal.

Plus she's still little. Have to admit I may giggle just a little if you end up telling me she was your first bite, of course I will ask if you are ok before I giggle but still :}
