Some cute pictures of my baby G. aureostriata.

Some cute pictures of my baby G. aureostriata. They are about 1" now. The first one likes to hang out on the top of its container, but it has a burrow dug out under the twigs:

The second one is a fantastic digger! It's got a really neat burrow dug out along the side of the clear plastic container where I can get a good look at it. Here it is waiting at the entrance for dinner:

A view from the top. Look at those glowing eyes!

After catching dinner, a pinhead cricket, it retreats in its burrow to enjoy:

The other 7 slings I have, B albopilosum, N. chromatus, and N. coloratovillosus, are just way too small and stay too well hidden to be photographed. Maybe in a few more months...

Starmaiden your aureostriata reminds me of mine. For those who didn't see mine, here it is giving the camera the "I'm so innocent, I didn't do anything" look..:D It's abdomen is much bigger now as this pic was taken a few days after arrival and housing. It's doing quite well. :D

I agree, I feel sad looking at that picture, I hope she does well without it and regenerates it fully in the future..
