Some cute pictures of my baby G. aureostriata.
Some cute pictures of my baby G. aureostriata. They are about 1" now. The first one likes to hang out on the top of its container, but it has a burrow dug out under the twigs:
The second one is a fantastic digger! It's got a really neat burrow dug out along the side of the clear plastic container where I can get a good look at it. Here it is waiting at the entrance for dinner:
A view from the top. Look at those glowing eyes!
After catching dinner, a pinhead cricket, it retreats in its burrow to enjoy:
The other 7 slings I have, B albopilosum, N. chromatus, and N. coloratovillosus, are just way too small and stay too well hidden to be photographed. Maybe in a few more months...
