provided water is available, I personally wait a week, some wait more, others feed after 3 or 4 days.

Its all going good with my GBB slings and they are rally hungry! Crickets make them eat like hell compared to roaches. so this is my question. I've been offering them food every day now and they are getting bigger and bigger on their abdomen. In their deli cups theres no chance for them to fall or something. so is it safe to feed em every day? cuz they finish upp the cricket pretty fast and are ready for the next one the day after.

Yes its ok. I do that with slings as well (any species). Couple that with warm temps and they molt once a month for me. They know when to stop eating.

Well, My GBB slings are refusing food now. one has been doing this for more than a week and dont got any signs of premolt on its skin. My other one has darker pink legs now and he has been refusing food since thursday so maybe next week im getting a molt from him. but my other one is the one im worried about he runs around the deli cup when a cricket is trapped in his web and running around like hes spooked. premolt? and bonus question: how can you tell a GBB sling is in premolt by lookin on its skin?

My slings appear to be "afraid" of food when they are about to molt.
According to the thread, the last time one of them molted was 11/30, and they can easily go a week without eating before molting.

Just make sure the moisture is maybe increased a little bit. I usually wet half their substrate when I see them refusing food. I've heard that an increase in moisture makes the molting process easier for them.

I only have one GBB sling, so let's see what the other more experienced keepers have to say :D

Yea i know, but the one who molted 30 nov, is all good he got good signs on his skin that hes in premolt. his joints and its Chelicerae is all black. his Half grey/pink legs has darkened much more than before and ofcourse he is refusing food. But the other one is the one im concerned about, but maybe im just to worried, to noob and not so patient. the golden spot on is abdomen is minimizing every day and replaced by a brown spot and thats the only sign besides refusing food but my last experience is that it should be black like the night.
