That's normal. You can mist if you want to. I haven't with my two and they have both molted fine several times. One of mine just started to get its blue legs. It molted this past Sunday after not eating for about a month.

i'd say if it's been a month, try feed a prekill, if they eat, great, if they don't, then no risk of damage to the moulting T.

Whats the temps of the enclosure. Warmer temps mean faster molts. Cooler means slower.
If you throw in a prekilled prey leave it in there to see if it takes it. 24hrs later remove it.

Tarantulas will teach you how to be patient.{D

"Regular" room temps dont say much. That could be anything.

I Have a T room which is kept at 80-85F. Whatever the room is, thats what the temps inside the vial will be.

Get a thermometer and place it infront of the deli cup. that will give you an idea of the temps inside with the T.

alright i will get one, but its around 20-26 Celsius. and you've got to be kidding me, i threw in a baby dubia (dead) and one of the slings took it!, (dont know if its eating it or jsut an attack its under her/he) i've done the same with the other sling but that one moved away from the roach. what does this mean? that the sling that took the roach wasnt ever in premolt? :O ive just been waiting and starving my T in one month for nothing ? :O

Was never in premolt. When in premolt. Will not even attack in most cases. You got your answer. Good luck.

By "Endless" I mean one small prey item per day or every other day. If they don't eat it thats ok. As long as they have a plump abdomen they will be fine.

my slings will eat a baby dubia maybe once a fortnight, considering i feed them prekills I can get away with a 5mm roach being fed to a sling who's total body length is about that. They get very fat when they take one and as i've mentioned, will not eat for another good while.

As someone else said, provided they have fat little bottoms and have water available, they should be fine.
