Hi, today I’m going to pick up a 3inch G. actaeon for only $80 and I can’t find much info on how to keep them. Can anybody help me with how they personally keep them and what they find works best? Thanks!

For hecks sake i just googled G. actaeon to see for myself and there is a plethora of information, like a crap ton of information on the tarantula. Are you even trying to research your new pet????

Yes and I only found one care sheet and a few things saying to keep them like G. pulchras but a little bit more moist

This is the correct answer. Keep like pretty much any other terrestrial. A few inches of substrate, cork bark halfway into the soil, and a waterdish that you overflow when you fill it up. Mine has a lot more attitude and grows much quickly than any other Grammastola. It is awesome, one of the best feeding responses of any spider. I highly recommend them as a fun species to keep. Mine has never really webbed or burrowed though
